Join a growing community of museum people who are taking climate action, at our peer-learning sessions.
These 1.5 hour online sessions have been created to carve out time for museum people to connect on taking actions to tackle climate change. They are an opportunity to connect with others and find out what people are working on, get support for the challenges you are facing and celebrate the successes.
We know that finding time to do this work is one of the biggest barriers for many people. It can easily drop down the to-do-list and doesn’t feel like a priority with all the day-to-day stuff. But we know how important this work is to the museum sector.
Ali Criddle, Museum Development Advisor: Environmental Responsibility for Museum Development North, and colleagues, will be on hand to offer advice and help you to make useful connections.
In this session we will be joined by the Climate Psychology Alliance who will run a Climate Emotions session with time for Q&A.
Practicalities: These are informal sessions, and there is no pressure to share if you just want to come along and be inspired by others.
Joining Instructions
You will receive joining instructions in advance of the session via email.
Please Note These sessions are part of Roots & Branches, Museum Development England’s national programme on environmental sustainability. We aim to connect museum people, and the organisations they represent and work with, to develop and build on their carbon reduction strategies and approaches to taking climate action. The programme is managed and delivered by Museum Development North on behalf of Museum Development England.
By booking on a session, you agree for Museum Development North to share your booking information with your area Museum Development provider and the session host.
If there is anything we can do to help you get more out of the session, please contact hello@museumdevelopmentnorth.org.uk
