Collections Trust will be hosting their annual online conference on Thursday 8 October, from 10am to 4pm.
This year, the theme is Accountability for collections. The conference aims to explore different perspectives on what it means to be accountable for collections, reflecting on both the day-to-day activities and the policy decisions that ensure a sufficient foundation of collections information, as well as the challenging questions we might ask ourselves about what it means to be accountable to the public.
Information on the programme is available on the Collections Trust website, including a keynote from Dan Hicks, Professor of Contemporary Archaeology at the University of Oxford. Tickets are available here: https://collectionstrust.org.uk/events/conference-2026/conference-2026-accountability-for-collections/
